We strive for accuracy, but AI-generated content can occasionally contain inaccuracies or fabricated details. Heirloom Dossiers are designed to help you explore and discover — they are not a substitute for verified academic or cultural research. We encourage you to independently verify any information that is important to your family’s decision.

We use Google Gemini as our primary AI provider, with OpenAI as a fallback. Neither provider uses your data to train their models when accessed through their APIs. For text-to-speech name previews, we use OpenAI’s voice synthesis.

No. HushName is an AI-powered exploration tool, not a professional advisory service. While we use the word “consultation” to describe our name generation sessions, this does not create a professional-client relationship. The final naming decision is always yours.

Absolutely. Your family’s information is something we take very seriously. Everything is encrypted in transit and at rest, our database uses Row Level Security so only you can access your own records, and we never share or sell your data to anyone. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Only your naming preferences — style choices, cultural background, family surnames, and any notes you add. We never send your email address, name, account ID, or any other personally identifiable information to AI providers.

Yes. You can delete your account at any time from your Settings page. This permanently removes your profile, all consultations, generated names, swipe history, and partner linking data. Purchase records are retained for 7 years as required by tax law, with personal details minimised.
